Our cuisine is the perfect blend of the wonderful traditions of this land and the hospitality offered in a true family spirit. The regional dishes that are skilfully prepared by our Chefs follow the authenticity of the recipes and meet the demands of our times, satisfying them with innovation and a pinch of internationalism. For our resident guests, a continental buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room. The sweet and savoury dishes that are served recall both Mediterranean and Nordic customs and can meet the tastes of all the clientele. There is a corner of light dishes and there is no shortage of local products.
Our daily menus for lunch and dinner feature surprising home-made first courses and select meat and fish second courses, where the Italian spirit is easily recognized in each dish. Not to be forgotten are the cheeses, a real treasure of Carnia. Alpine cottage (malga) cheese, fresh “scueta” (soft cheese), “formadi frant” crushed and fermented with pepper, small smoked soft “gialìns” cheese with herbs, salted cheese ripened in brine: the intense flavours in the various local cheeses mirror the unspoilt environment that is all around, reminding you of the scent of mountain herbs and pastures. The restaurant features a self-service buffet where guests can dip into luscious salads as well as seasonal cooked and raw vegetables. Traditional desserts complete our culinary offer magnificently.
